se the course card to fill in course requests for 2026-2027. This course card will help you plan your courses. It will also help your Middle School Professional School Counselor ensure that your course requests are received.
Please be aware that courses on the course card and entered in HAC are requests. Denton ISD will attempt to honor all requests, but there are no guarantees all requests can be accommodated.

Be on the LOOK OUT for an email about Verifying your students Schedule towards the end of July, beginning of August. If there are changes that need to be made, that is the time to make them. We can't guarantee any schedule changes after school begins.
August 6th (4 pm to 7pm) Howdy Night: Families are welcomed to come drop off School Supplies, Pay for IDs, and get to know what clubs are available for your student.
If you are NEW TO DENTON ISD and or NEW TO CROWNOVER
August 11th (10:00 am to 11:30am) Cowboy Round Up- A day for our newest Cowboys to come together and learn about Crownover, meet other new students, meet the staff, take a tour of the school and ask any questions they may have. Parents to drop off students, and parents will pick them up in the same location. Email will be sent out with further information about this day.

How to Enter Courses in HAC
1. On the course card, students should select their core classes, select their PE requirement and rank their electives 1-6, #1 being their top choice and 6th being their last choice.
2. Students are to input their Core classes, PE elective and 2 electives.
No alternates needed in HAC.
Follow the steps below to view your students course requests for 2026-2027
Log in to HAC (Home Access Center)
Click the Classes icon
Click the Schedule tab. Scroll to see the 2026-2027 course requests at the bottom of the page
If you are interested in your student taking a Credit Exam, please check out the webpage by clicking above. Feel free to contact your students Alpha counselor for further information.
