Below you will find information that pertains to ALL orchestra students at Calhoun MS.
Orchestra Handbook Agreement
Orchestra Dues
All students in the Calhoun Orchestra program pay Orchestra Dues. Orchestra Dues are $50 and go towards things like each student's orchestra binder and binder supplies, orchestra t-shirts, All Region entry, Solo and Ensemble entry, busses, classroom supplies/materials/equipment and more. More detailed information can be found in the Orchestra Handbook.
Orchestra Dues can be paid in cash or check (made out to CMS Orchestra) and turned in to either Mx. Bollinger (in person), the payment dropbox at the back of the Orchestra room, or into the receptionist in the front office. All monies should be turned in inside an envelope with the student's name written on the front, the amount enclosed and the purpose for the payment.
Orchestra Dues can be paid all at once or split up into payments if that suits your financial situation better. All payments should be completed by the end of the 1st quarter, October 11th. At Calhoun we ALWAYS do whatever is necessary to take care of students whose financial circumstances prevent them from paying their orchestra dues or instrument fee. If you need assistance, please reach out.
