My USAF career included flying assignments as a C-141 navigator (at Charleston AFB, SC and McChord AFB, WA) and C-130 navigator (Ramstein AB, Germany). I was also an Operations Support Squadron commander at Ramstein AB. I've held various staff assignments at HQ Air Mobility Command, Scott AFB, IL; HQ USAF/the Pentagon, Washington D.C.; HQ US Transportation Command, Scott AFB, IL; and HQ US Southern Command, Miami, FL.
I retired from the USAF in the summer of 2007 and was immediately hired as the AFJROTC Senior Aerospace Science Instructor (SASI) at Denton Billy Ryan HS, serving there for nine years. I moved to open our AFJROTC program at Ray Braswell HS in the fall of 2016 and have completed four full years in this program.
I have been happily married for over 32 years, and I am the proud father of two sons, one a US Army Capt and the other a graduate of McKinney North High School.
I am a Houston, Texas "native," and I love watching the Houston Astros baseball team. I also enjoy golfing, fishing, hunting, and college sports (especially Texas A&M football).
