Hello! I am so excited to start my 9th year of teaching Kindergarten here at Blanton! 

A little about me:

I am a native Texan - raised in the DFW area (DeSoto - go Eagles!).  I didn't venture off too far for school - graduating from UNT in Denton with a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education.  I taught 2nd/3rd grades for 9 years in Flower Mound (Lewisville ISD) and then became a stay-at-home mom.  I taught Pre-K for several years and began to miss being in the classroom full-time.  Both of my children went to Blanton K-5th grade, so I was excited to be given the opportunity to join a school staff I already loved and respected!

My husband, Jeff, and I have been married for 26 years and have two awesome kids: Anna (junior at Oklahoma State) and Cade (freshman at OU). Sibling rivalry at its best! We have a 10 year old boxer, Buddy. We enjoy attending church, visiting the kids in Oklahoma, skiing, traveling and walking the trails around Lantana.
