Mrs. Seale teaches a curriculum that includes Orff and Kodaly learning strategies to ensure a variety of musical experiences, and to develop music literacy in her students. When students attend music class they participate in singing, listening activities, movement and dancing, drama, a variety of instrument playing opportunities, and composition activities. Through these activities they develop social skills, higher order thinking skills, concentration and focus skills, self-discipline and motivation, and teamwork skills as well as personal accountability. My desire is for my students to develop an understanding of how music can bring joy and fulfillment to everyday life.
