Courtney Seale received her Bachelor of Music from the University of North Texas, and has been the Music Specialist and Aviator Choir director for three years. Before beginning her adventure at Adkins, she was the Music Specialist at Garden Ridge Elementary in Flower Mound for 15 years where she was elected the 2015-2016 Teacher of the Year, and was an elementary finalist for Lewisville ISD Teacher of the Year.
A choral music enthusiast, she continues to be an active choral musician in the Denton Bach Society. She has also served as a keyboardist and vocalist on the worship ensemble and as the children's chorus director at her church. Her choirs have celebrated many great successes! Her ensembles have been selected as a 2015 Texas Music Educators Association Honor Choir, to serve as the children's chorus in the University of North Texas's performance of "Turandot" in 2017, and have were named the Grand Champions of the 2017, 2018, and 2019 NRH2O music festivals!
When Mrs. Seale is not with her fabulous students, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Courtney and her husband Doug have 3 children. Her oldest, is Firefighter/EMT and completes paramedic school in January. Her youngest son, Davin, is a sophomore on the baseball team at Guyer. Her daughter, Claire, is a 7th grader at Crownover Middle where she plays volleyball and sings in the choir. She also has two dogs, Spot and Bentley. Some of her favorite activities include going to the lake, camping, biking, going to amusement parks, playing wiffle ball and softball, and attending concerts and sporting events (her favorites are Corinth Crushers baseball, Rangers baseball and Guyer Wildcat sports). She also enjoys curling up with a good book, watching HGTV, playing board and card games, and attempting Just Dance.
