Hi! I'm Mrs. Treece and I will be teaching 3rd Grade Math and Science. This is my second year in this position at Union Park Elementary! This will be my 5th year teaching, with three of those years in mathematics, one in all subjects, and one in reading and language arts. Fun Fact: I taught my first 3 years in Arkansas!

My husband, Jonah, and I have been married for just over a year. He is a software developer and absolutely loves his career. We love attending/watching sports games, hosting get togethers with friends and family, and days on the lake, beach, or pool.

My teaching philosophy centers around the concept of growth, viewing it as the cornerstone of education. I believe that any progress, whether it be through small, incremental steps or significant leaps, is valuable and should be celebrated. Growth is not always about reaching a final destination but about the journey of continuous improvement and learning. My goal is to create an environment where students feel encouraged and supported to grow at their own pace. I recognize that each student is unique, with different strengths and areas for development, and I tailor my teaching methods to meet these individual needs. By fostering a growth mindset, I aim to inspire students to embrace challenges and view failures as opportunities for learning.
