In DuPage County there are a number of different residential options for people with disabilities. To become a resident in a program, the first step is to open a case with PACT Inc. the service coordination agency in DuPage County which determines eligility for state residential services, helps familities location appropriate providers and requires funding on behalf of the family. If you are looking for adult services, you should contact PACT Inc. when you child is 17 1/2 years of age. Please keep in mind that residential service providers require different qualifications. It is suggested that individuals tour the different supported living and residential options before deciding.
