Why would I go to the library if I don't like to read?

The library is the best place on campus!! There are computers for finishing up work or printing. There are places to relax with friends, puzzles, coloring pages, and of course,I'm there just to chat. Even if you don;' like to read, I like to see you. I can help you with anything you might need. Even Albert Einstein knew "The only thing you absolutely have to know is the location of the library!"

What do you do all day?

I KNOW! But really, I get asked this question all the time! Truthfully, a day in the life of a librarian is full of a million different things. I might be co-teaching classes with your teacher (usually ELA), I might be walking up and down the shelves helping students finds books, working with students to finish projects, ordering or processing new books, repairing books, shelving books, and of course checking books in and out to you! And thats just the basic stuff! I love to help teachers plan lessons, offer tech support to students and staff, work with other librarians on professional development, and of course do anything I can to help SBMS be the best school around :)
