Breakfast will be served from 7:00 - 7:30am. Students must go to the cafeteria to receive breakfast.
Each child will be assigned an account number (student id#) and will have an assigned ID badge.
Cafeteria money should be turned in first thing in the morning in a sealed envelope. Please include the student's name and ID# to ensure proper credit. You may also prepay for school meals using the Lunch Money Now system located on the Comal ISD website or by going here or viewing the flyers above.
Students have the option of purchasing a school lunch or bringing their own lunch. Please make sure to label student lunch boxes/bags with their name and grade. Students may purchase extras or snacks only with parent permission. Parents must sign and complete the Extra/Snacks form prior to the student being able to purchase.
If you choose to have lunch with your child, you will need to sign in through the office and get your Raptor badge. You will then need to wait in the cafeteria until their class arrives. There are designated tables for where you can have lunch with your own child... please do not ask other students to join you and your child's lunch time. Due to increase food allergies and restrictions, please only bring food for your child.
Student rules for the cafeteria:
Students are to request permission before leaving their seat, unless there is an emergency.
Students need to take care of their utensil and condiment needs before sitting down to their tables. If they forget, they will raise their hand if needing a fork, spoon, napkin, etc. These items will be brought to your child by the lunch monitor.
Students are dismissed to the bathroom one at a time.
Classes are dismissed one at a time after lunch.
Appropriate cafeteria procedures are followed at all times.
Appropriate table manners are expected. Shouting, playing with food, etc is unacceptable.
Students are expected to be safe, respectful, and responsible at all times.
