A writers notebook will be a writing journal/notebook that students will bring to class each day that holds daily writing logs, class notes, answers to writing prompts, handwritten jots/graphic organizers, and quick writes. Studnets will be given the oppertunity to customize their notebooks at the begining of the school year and will take them home each night to practice their writing skills. I have included some pictures of my own writers notebooks to give you an idea of the kinds of things studnets will be tasked with writing about.
