Q: How many points do I need to be initiated?

A: 4 Total - 2 Service and 2 Social! You can check which events count for each type on our calendar.

Q: Can I have the slides from the prospective members meeting?

Q: What if I only need 1 more point and the event I'm planning to attend is after the due date?

A: Let the Vice President know and they will keep you on the initiation list.

Q: I cannot afford the $100 due, can I still join?

A: Yes! Lack of funds should never prevent someone from joining. If this is an issue for you, contact the Vice President or one of the faculty advisors.

Q: I cannot attend the initiation ceremony, can I still join Tau Beta Pi this semester?

A: Unfortunately not. If you cannot attend the initiation ceremony we ask that you wait to join Tau Beta Pi until the following semester.

Q: An event I was planning on attending got cancelled, can I still receive a point for it?

A: Depending on how close to time the event got cancelled, you may still be able to receive a point about it. The Vice President will let you know if that is the case.
