Cadet of the Month is a process where stand-out cadets are chosen to represent their class and compete in a board against other nominated cadets each month. At the end of the year, one of the winners of Cadet of the Month will be chosen for Cadet of the Year.

Cadet of the Year is a recent addition to the program after the Battalion lost one of it's most strong, caring, and genuine cadets in a fatal motorcycle accident. Not only was he an incredible cadet, but he was a loving son, boyfriend, friend, and natural leader. In 2021 he was named Cadet of the Year, and anyone who receives this high honor embodies his admirable qualities and carries on his memory. 

The Fightin' Tiger Family is honored to have known him and misses his presence, but knows his light continues to shine from above and through all the people he has impacted.
