👋 Greetings!! It’s wonderful to have you here.
I am Mashiyat Mahjabin Eshita, hailing from Bangladesh. Currently, I am a CS (Computer Science) graduate student and a research assistant at BRAC University. I am passionate about helping people with my research and creating a sustainable world with the help of technology.
My journey in HCI (Human-Computer Interaction) begins with mainly focusing on two areas:
- Exploring the effects and gaps of social media: How can we improve our use of it for personal and collective well-being!
-Usable Privacy and Security: With the intersection of Cybersecurity and HCI, I aim to enhance socialization.
I am also a member of Dr. Jannatun Noor's Computing for Sustainability and Social Good (C2SG) Research Group. My previous works have been published in IEEE Xplore 2023, SOUPS 2024, and CHI 2025. In my leisure, I love to explore new things that interest me.

5 January 2026: Finished reviewing for CHI 2026 Full papers やったー(Yattā!)
29 November 2025: Attended my bachelor’s convocation ceremony. やったー(Yattā!)
24th May 2025: Presented and discussed my CHI 2025 paper at the post-CHI event hosted by IIT Bombay. ʕ •ɷ•ʔฅ
25th April 2025: Successfully defended my undergraduate thesis. ʕ •ɷ•ʔฅ
28th February 2025: Paper was featured at BRACU CSE RESEARCH DAY, HCI Panel! ʕ •ɷ•ʔฅ
10th February 2025: Reviewed papers of CHI LBW 2025.
17th January 2024: First CHI acceptance !! やったー(Yattā!)
21st December 2024: Attended the first conference in person and presented my paper at NSysS 2024.
5th November 2024: Another acceptance from NsySS 2024.
6th November 2024: Passed the First round of CHI2025.
10th July 2024: Two poster papers (Extended Abstracts) were accepted at SOUPS2024.
15th November 2023: I got my first acceptance from SKIMA2023.
