Shorot (Autumn) – Mid-August to Mid-October
Clear skies, white kash flowers, comfortable weather.
Hemonto (Late Autumn) – Mid-October to Mid-December
Mild chill in the air, golden paddy fields ready for harvest.
Sheet (Winter) – Mid-December to Mid-February
Cool and dry, temperatures can drop below 10°C in the north.
Boshonto (Spring) – Mid-February to Mid-April
Warm and pleasant, flowers bloom, colorful celebrations like Pohela Falgun.
But Bangladesh has a tropical monsoon climate with three main seasons
Summer / Pre-Monsoon (March–June) – Hot and humid, temperatures can reach 35–40°C, occasional thunderstorms.
Monsoon (June–October) – Heavy rainfall, lush greenery, high humidity; 70–80% of yearly rain falls in this period.
Winter / Dry Season (November–February) – Cool and pleasant, temperatures 10–20°C, low humidity.
