Good afternoon Katie,
Many thanks again for all your hard work collating the samples for standards verification. There were no issues. These were excellent samples with accurate assessment throughout and evidence of effective internal verification. Your assessment record sheets for Level 3 Creative Media Practice were the most detailed I’ve ever seen!
I enjoyed looking at the learner work and if you have any questions about any aspect of the reports, just let me know.
It’s been a pleasure working with you on this year’s standards verification process and I wish you all the best for the rest of the academic year.

I just wanted to drop you a message regarding Rob and the Estates team. Over the last few days, they have assisted with setting up rooms for exams, taking it down/amending layouts to facilitate the Progression Fairs and Applicant Interviews, putting the exam layout back and doing it all again. They really are unsung hero's where their work is not always seen, but it is most definitely hugely appreciated.
Even last night we had Applicant Interviews in the Conference Suite from 4pm-6pm. They were in there from 3pm taking down the exam set up, setting up for applicant interviews. When I arrived this morning at 08:30 to pick up the banners to move to the Thrive Hub, the room has already been converted back to an exam set up.
I know throughout the year we ask a lot of them with Open Events, Applicant Days, Applicant Interviews, Progression Fairs, Enrolments and so much more, so it's always good to shout when we work well internally, but I really do appreciate the Estates team and that they are working hard in the background, extremely flexible and supported as and when engaged.

My T-level placement has been a valuable and eye-opening experience that has helped me grow both professionally and personally. Throughout the placement, I had the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings, work alongside experienced professionals, and develop essential skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management. One of the most positive aspects was gaining hands-on experience that deepened my understanding of the industry and gave me confidence in my abilities. I also appreciated the support and feedback from my mentors, which helped me improve and stay motivated. However, the placement did come with some challenges, such as adapting to a fast-paced environment and balancing workload with academic responsibilities. Despite this, these experiences taught me resilience and how to manage pressure effectively. Overall, my T-level placement has been a rewarding journey that has prepared me well for my future career.

Your dedication does not go unnoticed. The way you go above and beyond to support us, explain things clearly, and always make time to check on our progress truly makes a difference. It’s clear that you want every student to succeed, and that level of care and commitment is rare and incredibly appreciated.

I want to express my gratitude to the college for showing interest in all the students particularly my son.
I met his teachers and his attendance and participation in classes were discussed with me.
I will put in my effort to support him in the areas he needs assistance and guidance.
Moreover, the original copy of my son's international GCSE certificate has been taken to the college office for conversion. After the conversion by Karenza, she stated that both Mathematics and English are the same as the UK pass rate.
I want to appreciate the school for all the good works. Thank you very much.

Francis mansaray has been doing a fantastic job teaching the level 3 electrical. In comparison to other teachers in other collages he is by far doing better than anyone I have met. Please send him a fantastic bonus as the pass rate of this course is only due to Francis magnificent teaching skill and knowledge.

I just wanted to send you a note, after speaking to Sam today, to resolve an issue for a learner I am putting on to an Early Years Apprenticeship.
Sam was really helpful, patient & resourceful, going out of her way to try and help me. She is a great Ambassador for your team & College. I wanted to pass on this compliment.
This was followed by internal compliments from Sam's managers.
You always deal with customers in a positive way and forever go the extra mile. You truly strive each day showing dedication and compassion to your role and customers you pass. Keep up the fantastic work. Your efforts make a real difference.

"I absolutely enjoyed the Recce as that was the first one, I've ever done. I loved meeting Bobbie and Kelly form Make Your Mark Barking and Dagenham and the work they have done for and around the community. I enjoyed meeting Harvey and his idea of giving young artists a chance and a foot into the industry. Harry Lake, 17, Level 3 Production Arts Student from Romford."
"I'm excited for our first event, and this will be the first gig I've ever been to! - Gabija Liberyte, 19, Level 3 Production Arts, Dagenham"

I couldn't ask for a better group of students! As people they all brought positive energy and interactions while who are easy to talk to and work with. We were very impressed with both the level of professionalism and knowledge of the students. One thing that really stood out was their ability to breakdown industry concepts/terms to a point where I would understand as someone who has no background in the field.
I would also like to point out we saw the confidence of the group start to show through when we were in the event space. We are all very excited to work with the students moving forward as we already see their positive impact.

I think this experience is helpful to me so that I have some experience of how to set up a gig. I'm overall excited to do this gig. The staff were very helpful and gave a good insight to the show itself and what we need. Jack Limani, 16, Level 3 Production Arts Student from Ilford
"I had so much fun yesterday, getting to leave the classroom and get hands on. I learnt a lot from Harvey and Kelly and im looking forward to creating more and more productions. Inioluwa Dotun-Bankole, 18, Level 3 Production Arts Student from Goodmayes."

T Levels give students the opportunity to take a step into their futures and see what their careers could be. On their placements, they get hands on training, experiencing situations they might have otherwise just seen in their textbooks. BHRUT patients have really enjoyed having T Level students involved in their care knowing that they are at that early part of someone of someone's career. Opportunities like the T Level placements at BHRUT can open students minds to continuing their journey into healthcare roles and being the future of our workforce.

Id like to send this message as a huge thank you to your staff on your enrolment day yesterday 27/8
My son was given a conditional offer at NCC Rainham when we arrived yesterday we was told his place had gone. The NCC college staff were rude and very unhelpful. We drove to your college in a panic, desperately trying to get him on a course. The lady on your front desk ( blonde hair glasses and gentleman ) were amazing they calmed me down straight away and said they could help. The whole process was fantastic. We met with a tutor called Graham and my son is now on a carpentry and joinery course. Graham sat and listened and answered every single question I gave him and didnt rush me. My son and I are so happy and feel so much more confident that he is on the right course for him.
I cant thank your staff enough for their kindness and help. From the staff on the gates making us laugh to the guys doing the IDs
A big well done and many thanks for helping a very stressed and upset mum and son
Keep up the great work your all amazing !!!

We have some lovely feedback to share with Sharon and Joice. We had staff from Waltham Forest college visiting the Adult ESOL department to share effective practice in teaching and learning. The staff commented on how they received such a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival despite how incredibly busy they were due to the Skills Show event and the volume of visitors arriving on the day.
They didn't have the opportunity to complete a feedback form so asked us to share their feedback directly with you.
Well done and thank you for your continued support ladies.

Thanks for helping make this happen! I am so grateful that such an important stage of my career got shared in the news and promoted our name as a college as well.
By the way the internship was amazing, I learned a lot about the Virtual Industry in cinema and it actually opened my eyes for what's next in my professional pathway. So once again thanks for supporting me in all those steps too!

I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to you and all the incredible lecturers who have supported me throughout my time at the Technical Skills Academy. This journey has been truly life-changing, and I couldn't have reached this point without your guidance and encouragement. During my Level 1 studies, I had the pleasure of being taught by Gabriel, whose dedication and organisational skills were truly inspiring. Gabriel’s commitment to excellence and his ability to engage students made a significant impact on my learning experience. Abigail also stood out with her unique ability to connect with students and motivate us to achieve our best. My English lecturer, Alex, impressed me with his hard work, patience, knowledge, and distinctive teaching style, which greatly enriched my learning experience. Allan, my maths lecturer for two years, was an outstanding educator whose profound knowledge and innovative teaching methods significantly shaped my academic growth. His passion, patience, and dedication were exceptional.
Choudhury’s way of connecting with the class and his teaching approach in Level 1 were simply remarkable. In Level 2, Angela was an inspiration through her global experience, determination, and hard work. Alizah continued to impress with her dedication, enthusiasm, and her ability to connect with students on a personal level, making every lesson engaging and impactful. Desmond, with his exceptional organisational skills and deep knowledge, was an outstanding lecturer whose motivation and support were crucial to my success. Zavanuai, despite his brief tenure, also made a positive impression with his expertise and teaching style. Dillon, you made a significant impact during this time with your unwavering support, motivation, and excellence in teaching. Your dedication and ability to inspire us were instrumental in my academic progress.
In Level 3, Khadija was an exceptional lecturer whose hard work, determination, and commitment to our success were truly remarkable. Her deep care for each student and her tireless efforts to guide and motivate us made a profound difference in my learning experience. Khadija’s passion for teaching and her involvement in charitable causes exemplified her dedication to making a positive impact. Charles, with his vast experience working with U.S.-based companies, provided invaluable insights that helped me adapt to different environments and shape my approach to business and learning.
Lastly, Dillon, I want to thank you personally for everything you’ve done for me. Your motivation, compliments, and support have had a profound effect on my confidence and personal development. Despite your own challenges, you’ve always been there for the students, guiding and inspiring us with your dedication and hard work. I truly appreciate everything you’ve sacrificed to help us succeed, and I’ve always strived to support you and my classmates in return. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Uzma, the Curriculum Manager, for her exceptional leadership and dedication. Her efforts in shaping and supporting the curriculum have been vital to our success, and her guidance has been greatly appreciated.
I would also like to thank the Technical Skills Academy for shaping me into the person I am today. The college has provided unwavering support, even during the most challenging times, which has been instrumental in my growth. My motivation, confidence, and personal development have been nurtured here, and I am excited to take the next step in my journey. I’m proud to share that I will be studying for a degree in Economics at university, and I know the lessons I’ve learned here will help me become a future leader of tomorrow.
