Scoring Breakdown

Music Effect–20%, Music Ensemble–20%, Music Individual–20%, Visual Effect–20%, Visual Ensemble–10%,  Visual Individual–10%

Trophies

Given for the top half of each class. Caption awards will be given in each class for Outstanding Music, Outstanding Visual, and Outstanding General Effect. In case of a tie, the overall effect score (music + visual) will be used as the tiebreaker.

Preliminary Classifications

Class 6: Belleville East, Fort Zumwalt West, Francis Howell, Francis Howell Central, Lafayette, Lindbergh, Marquette

Class 5:  Camdenton, Fox, Francis Howell North, Timberland, Washington

Class 4: Sullivan, Windsor

Finals Competition

All bands will be invited to finals competition in 2023. Bands will need to send a representative to the field at the end of prelims awards to draw for finals slots. The top six preliminary scores will draw for the last six performance times and the lowest eight scores will draw for the remaining performance times.
