Dear Parents,
I am excited to be your child's technology teacher and look forward to adventures that we will embark on together! The goal of technology class is for each child to develop skills in utilizing basic computer applications, understand rights and responsibilities when navigating the digital world, practice coding skills, gain familiarity with Google Apps, and connect to the world in the form of global collaboration. Units of study include:
Keyboarding
Digital Citizenship
Google Apps for Education (Google Slides, Docs, Forms, Sheets)
Coding
Global Collaboration
Your students will have technology class once a week with 40 minute sessions. Each child has his/her own Fort Zumwalt School District Google Account. Directions for logging into the computer can be found on the "Help from Home" page on this site. See the link above.
