I am very happy to be teaching at West High School with the choir program starting our 23rd year! We have an unusually great administration, faculty and staff. Most of all, I am looking forward to teaching my 9-12 choir students. These groups will have the opportunity to maintain a superior precedent and start more traditions for the West choirs of the future. In addition to teaching 5 choirs, I also teach AP Music Theory and study hall.
Hey, Jaguars! My name is Mr. Carl, and I will be student teaching in your student's choir classroom this semester. I will be graduating Lindenwood University in December with a degree in K-12 Music Education. I have spent the past four years of college preparing to teach in the field, and I finally have the opportunity to work with some amazing students! I am looking forward to all the music and experiences of this (especially unique) school year. We have a virtual open house video up on your student's Canvas page if you would like a little more insight on what we are doing in the classroom. We hope to have some new videos posted on this page soon!
Sincerely,
Mr. Carl (dcarl@fz.k12.mo.us)
