Updated COVID Information
We ask that you follow the school’s recommendations as outlined herein:
If your child tests positive for COVID:
Staying Home:
Remain home until fever free (without fever reducing medicine) and symptoms improving for at least 24 hours
Masking:
We recommend (but do not require) wearing for 10 days from start of symptoms
If your child is exposed to COVID
Please monitor for symptoms of infection. If you (or your child) develop symptoms, stay home and test for COVID.
Otherwise, we recommend testing at least 5 full days following exposure.
Note: We no longer require masking for exposures. We do continue to strongly recommend masking for those exposed. Those who wish to continue masking after exposures will be supported.
Stay up-to-date with vaccines. Staying up to date on vaccination continues to be the best way to protect children from severe outcomes from both influenza and COVID-19. Influenza vaccine may be administered on the same day as the COVID-19 vaccine.
Notify the Nurses’ Office if your child tests positive for COVID
