Community Events

A key component of global citizenship is informed engagement.  One must seek to understand global issues before acting. Beyond the FVS classroom, such understanding can be acquired through connecting with the inspiring, informed, and experienced individuals already working to promote change, tolerance, justice, and sustainability. To earn your Diploma, you must attend a total of six global events offered on and off campus. Write a 300 word reflection here on each event attended (within one week of doing so).  Explore what this particular event taught you about a global issue and your role in it.  You may write these reflections in a separate google doc and then drag and drop below.  Alternatively, you may create a separate page for each event.
