The Sanders Family
Our hearts and prayers go out to our nephews, their families, and the entire Suttle
Family. We know how deeply our brother-in-law Harvey was held in the hearts of our
sister Ednolia and those close to him. His memory lives on for us through those we hold dear.
We wish you peace that surpasses all understanding.

To: Mr. Suttle aka Pops
This man made my, older brother and cousins feel like his sons. He was a man that was strong and fair and made sure we were always safe in his presence.
Both Him and Mrs. Suttle had an aura that respect was imperative. We knew as growing boys with snotty noses that they would be fair and honest. Mr. Suttle has helped me to overcome the difficult times in my life, when I was 11 years old I lost my father in the summer of August 14, 1981. He gave me tremendous strength and support that my family and cousins did not know. Those small things help me navigated through tough times and uncertain times it helped me to catapult my journey into focusing on school and playing basketball.
In hindsight Pop aka Mr. Suttle I salute you for the moments that you gave to me and my family by sharing the warmth of your house with my cousins Greg, Terry, and Geoff. Enjoying the full annuities of playing pool, pinball, lifting weights and most importantly playing basketball on the legendary rim and backboard over the garage. Where many people came from everywhere to play basketball. That how I learned my savvy in basketball those foundations are Paramount to myself and lots young men in the community.
To Pops a.k.a. Mr. Suttle, Rest in Power, John John.

Mr. and Mrs. Suttle both embraced me as if I was one of there own. Terry and I became the closest of friends our Junior yr in high school. I watched Mr. Suttle's work ethic and his relationship with Greg, Terry, and Geoff. He instilled the same ethic in all three of them. I also marveled at his ability to build and repair things himself around the house. We always laughed and had small talks but they were always pertinent. Mr. Suttle will be missed, I truly love him, and the Seabrook family sends they're condolences.

You were a representation of loving and living life to the fullest. You were stand up and made everyone proud to have Suttle as their last name. You also did a great job of raising your sons to be just almost as great as you lol. So many memories we will have in our hearts thanks to you. Rest in peace king you truly are one of one

My heart is heavy as I remember our dear Pops, a man who was truly one of a kind. For more than 40 years, he was a special part of my life, and he loved me as if I were one of his own daughters. He always called me “Tina Marie,” and that name will forever hold a special place in my heart because it came from him with so much love.
Pops had a presence that could light up a room. He dressed like a superstar, carried himself with style, and had a laugh that made you want to laugh right along with him. He loved hard, lived fully, and made people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. Pops was a blessing in my life, and the love and bond we shared made him truly special to me.
I will always cherish the memories, the love, the laughter, and the bond we shared. Pops left a mark on my heart that time will never erase. I am grateful for the way he loved me, protected me, and treated me like one of his own. Rest well, Pops. You will always be loved, honored, and deeply missed.

With love, respect, and many fond memories, I remember Pa Suttle, someone who has been a part of my family's life for over 40 years. When you have known someone that long, they become more than just someone you know; they become a part of your memories, your laughter, your life, and your heart.
Pa Suttle was truly one of a kind. He had a style and presence that stood out wherever he went. He dressed sharp, carried himself with confidence, and had a way of making people smile. He laughed, loved, and lived life in a way that left an impression on everyone who knew him.
I will always cherish the years, the conversations, the memories, and the bond we shared. Pa Suttle will be deeply missed, but his spirit, laughter, and love will never be forgotten. Rest well, Pa Suttle. You will always be remembered with love and respect.

I’ve known Pops for most of my life, first as a neighbor and soon after as family. He became such a strong and constant presence in our lives that it’s hard to imagine life without him. He was a hardworking man who raised a strong family and always did what he believed was best for them. Thank you, Pops, for setting such a great example. I watched, and I learned more from you than you probably ever knew. I’m grateful to have known you and will always respect your strength, work ethic, and dedication to your family. My heart goes out to Terry, Geoff, and the entire family. May you find comfort in the many memories you shared with him. Rest in peace, Pops.
With love,

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God ; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”
