My goal for this course is to develop a strong foundation in social research methods that will enhance my ability to design and analyze research that supports community-driven economic development, particularly for small businesses and agricultural enterprises. I intend to engage deeply with the course materials—lectures, discussions, readings, and presentations—by critically evaluating their relevance to real-world challenges in my field. I look forward to refining my skills in data collection and analysis, which will allow me to apply evidence-based strategies to my work in communications, marketing, and business development. Through active participation with my peers and instructor, I aim to foster meaningful discussions that bridge theory and practice, ultimately using what I learn to support sustainable, locally driven change.
