The Warrior Way
At Walters, we are Respectful, Responsible, & Ready to Learn.
That's the WaRRioR Way!
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based, tiered framework used by schools to proactively teach and reinforce positive behavior, reducing disciplinary issues and improving safety. It focuses on fostering a positive school culture by teaching expected behaviors, rewarding success, and using data to tailor support for all students
By implementing evidence-based practices within a PBIS framework, schools support their students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success, engage with families to create relevant outcomes, and use data to make informed decisions that improve the way things work for everyone.
August 21 - 28, 2026 will be our PBIS kickoff week for the 2026-2027 School year! Students will learn about the Warrior Way during the READ period and can participate in spirit days!
