Grants provide many of the tools, equipment, and resources in class. Most grants usually support lasting, durable items, not consumables.
Consumables typically come from monetary donations, Donor's Choose Campaigns, or pulling items off an Amazon Wishlist. You can support all 3 options here for our students classes! Many of the fun side projects are run using these sources to acquire consumable items.
Donate money, $s, all elective class run on donations for consumablen items, especially for specialty equipment and their projects.
Money is used to purchase 3D Printer Filament, 2D ink, special paper types, vinyl for decals/stickers, woods and acrylics for the laser cutter etcher, and blanks for heat pressed creations. These are consumable supplies that need yearly replenishment to be able to continue using.
We have aging computers this year(6 years old) with newer video cards to keep CAD and Graphic Design projects work smoothly. Even better would be if your company matches donations or donates newer used computers, but newer, for a better overall experience. Standard Wear/Tear on Computers need updates.
Software licenses needed for Android Play Store Developer Fee, Web Hosting Optional for side projects/clubs, TypingClub, and more…
Cash Donations should be sent in an envelop with teacher name, student name, and period.
Check's are a bit more work, but still welcome. Checks Should be make out to Horner Middle School/FUSD.
The memo line should have Period Number, students name, and ID number. ex) 2: John Smith #12354
