All About Mrs. Best

Welcome to this 2025-2026 school year! This is my 13th year teaching at Patterson.

I got my teaching credential from Chapman University in 2011 and received my Masters in Curriculum & Instruction in May of 2019 from Brandman University. I always wanted to be a teacher since I could remember.

Family is VERY important to me and I want to instill that into my son. I love cooking and baking. My dad taught me how to cook and we love to plan a meal together and cook for family & friends. I travel a lot to Arizona because my mother's whole side of the family lives there and we are a very close Hispanic familia!

The students will soon realize that I am a HUGE Disney fan! I am going to Disneyland for my 40th this year at the beginning of October!

My Why

Patterson is my second home and I love the people I work with. I even have the privilege of calling some of them my family. I have enjoyed making many memories with the students and families at Patterson and it has been so amazing having siblings of previous students' in my class. I believe that teachers set the tone in the classroom and schools have a HUGE impact in our lives. I need to be the best "student" in the classroom so that my students have a model of what is expected.

mY sON rAYMOND

Raymond turned 5 at the end of July. He loves DINOSAURS, especially T-Rex. He talks about the Jurassic Park movies all the time! He is starting kindergarten this year, which I am really nervous and excited for!

My Husband Robbie

Robbie and I have been together since 2012 and we got married in 2018. We have so many similar interests like MARVEL, WWE, LOTR and playing video games. I truly married my solemate.

My Family

My parents (Wayne & Laura) have instilled great values in my sister, Dayna, and I. We promise to be honest with one another and not take things so seriously because our time together is precious.
