Homework- this is stapled to the Ardenwood folder that will go home every Monday. The family project is the project sheet. Please make sure the student’s name is on the project!

Clever- (Finish Lexia up to level 5 then STOP). This program will take your child to the Lexia Core 5 program. There is a pink paper with a badge attached. The badge is to be scanned in front of your computer web camera. A typical home session may last from 10-15 minutes (no more at one time!). It is important that your child works without any help while using Lexia Core 5. All the work your child does at home is recorded and reported to school. This means that I can see when help is needed. Lexia is part of the homework.

Concepts to practice for 3rd trimester -

Practice retelling stories...what happens first, next, last in the story?

Practice printing first and last name: first letter capital and remaining lowercase.

Practice concepts listed in the comments section of your child's report card.

Practice writing the alphabet and numbers to 20.

Parents should read picture books to their children.

Students should practice reading the predecodable stories that I send home.
