Hello Everyone! Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year at Horner Middle School. My name is Amtul Haleem, and I am excited to begin another year of teaching in the supportive community of Fremont. This is my 16th year at FUSD and my seventh year at Horner Middle School. It has been a wonderful experience working with students and parents from diverse backgrounds for the last several years. I taught computer sciences at Mission San Jose Elementary School for nine years. Previously, I have taught algebra II, algebra 1, pre-algebra, and geometry at Cupertino Union and San Jose Unified.

My bachelor's is in Electrical Engineering from Pakistan; I received my teaching credential in Math from San Jose State University and my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Cal State East Bay.Â

I live in San Ramon with my husband and two sons. I love to travel and spend time with my family.
