Hello Everyone! Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at Horner Middle School. My name is Amtul Haleem and I am excited to begin another year of teaching in the supportive community of Fremont. This is my 13th year at FUSD and my fourth year at Horner Middle School. It has been a wonderful experience working with students and parents from diverse backgrounds for the last several years. I taught computer sciences at Mission San Jose Elementary School for nine years. Previously, I have taught algebra II, algebra 1, pre-algebra, and geometry at Cupertino Union and San Jose Unified.

My bachelor's is in Electrical Engineering from Pakistan; I received my teaching credential in Math from San Jose State University and my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Cal State East Bay.Â

I live in San Ramon with my husband and two sons. Our older son is in his fourth year of college and the younger one is in his second year of college. I love to travel and spend time with my family
