Welcome!
I am excited to be teaching three courses this coming school year at John M. Horner Middle School. I will be teaching 6th-grade Math and Science, as well as quarterly electives—Academic Strategies in quarter 1 and Digital Citizenship in quarters 2, 3, and 4. In my classroom, I love teaching by incorporating storytelling, often sharing stories from my own family and cultural background, and tying them into our learning. I also look forward to celebrating and honoring the many cultures and traditions represented in our class. My goal is to create meaningful opportunities for students to share about themselves and their families while learning together.

Most of all, I am looking forward to learning more about YOU and your family life as we build a strong and supportive classroom community.
