Lost/Damaged Books
Replacement Fines
The school district sets replacement fees as follows:
$25 for hardcover books
$10 for paperback books
Books costing more than $25 will have a fine of the actual book cost
Fines can be paid in person, to the librarian, or ONLINE.
Pay for lost/damaged textbooks and/or library books online the easy way:
1. Log in to MySchoolBucks.com or create a FREE account. To make a payment, you will need to have an account and add a student with a valid student ID.
2. On the home page, select Pay for lost/damaged textbooks OR Pay for lost/damaged library books.
3. Provide the information requested. Check out with your choice of payment method.
4. Print or email your receipt to library so that credit can be given.
What makes a book marked "Lost" or "Damaged"
A book is considered "lost" when it is overdue by one month and a fine will be added to the student's account.
A book is considered "damaged" and in need of replacement when it is damaged beyond fixing or shows any of the following:
Water Damage
Food Stains
Many Rips and Tears
Coloring, Drawing, etc. over the pictures or words
Missing Cover
