My husband and me at the Seven Magical Mountains, 2025
Me enjoying a very large helping of Halo-Halo
This is my 13th year of teaching, 12th year of teaching in Fremont, and my sixth year of fourth grade. I have previously taught kindergarteners and second graders. I enjoy all my classes!
I live with my husband, Todd, and one of my adult children. Sadly, due to allergies, we have no pets. Some things I enjoy are writing and journaling, photography, eating, and shopping, too much shopping. My latest hobby is making beanies for Labubus/Lafufus and crocheting amigurumi.
I have a background in Design and Photography. My education is based on art photography with a Bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University. I also have an Associate’s degree in Web Design and Production from West Valley College. I earned my teaching credential through the program at Santa Clara University where the core beliefs of the Jesuits— Competence, Conscience, and Compassion—were deep-rooted with me along with teaching the whole child .
