SHADOW A CCA STUDENT FOR THE DAY

Current (non- Horner) 8th graders:

This is an opportunity to shadow a current CCA student and sit in on a full day of classes with them, including CCA core English, History, and arts electives. This is open to any current 8th grade middle school student in Fremont, private or public, who is outside of Irvington's attendance area.  Unfortunately, we cannot do shadow days for Horner students since they are already part of the Irvington attendance area. 

Shadow dates will occur on 1/26, 1/27, 1/30, 2/9, 2/10, and 2/20.

Please note: Shadow Days are only available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays since these are our 6 period bell schedule days.

To request a shadow date, please send an email to Krista Avon at kavon@fusdk12.net indicating your preferred date. Please include in the email:

          1. Student's full name

          2.  Please note the areas of artistic interest (performing or visual) your student

               has. This helps us pair your child with a student who has similar interests/ 

              classes.

          3. Current school and grade level

          4. Two emergency contact names and phone numbers         

          5. Current address

You will receive a reply confirming your sign-up, plus detailed information about when and where to go for your shadow date.

***Students should meet in front of Room 23 in the front of the school to meet their CCA Lead. They will take your student to the front office at IHS to sign in***
