The application window is now open!

The Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Magnet in association with Center for Creative Arts (CCA) is open to all students wanting to come to IHS who have an honest and active interest in the arts.  Because IHS is a VAPA Magnet school, arts inclined/interested students outside of the IHS attendance area  may come to IHS as prospective members of the CCA. 

TRANSFERING TO IRVINGTON TO JOIN THE CCA IS ONLY OPEN TO STUDENTS WHO LIVE WITHIN FREMONT AND THE FUSD BOUNDARIES. 

Students attending private schools within FUSD can ONLY apply to the CCA if they live in Fremont city boundaries. 

How to apply for the CCA:

If you DO NOT live within the Irvington attendance area boundaries but reside in Fremont, use the MAGNET APPLICATION link below.

If you DO live within the Irvington attendance area boundaries, and would like to join the Center for Creative Arts family, please use the INTERNAL application listed below.

***APPLICANTS MUST HAVE AT LEAST A 2.0 CUMULATIVE GPA TO APPLY

Shadow Day opportunities will be available this year and that information will be found on the Shadow a CCA Student page.

The application approval letters will be sent out on or around April 10th. 

An in person, informal interview option is available to incoming students per appointment given by the coordinators: March 2nd - March 6th and March 9th - March 12th afterschool AT IHS. Please email kavon@fusdk12.net to make an appointment and obtain further details.
