Students in Ms. Heather Elder's health science pathway complete a rigorous pathway to earn their Industry Certification: that includes, Allied Health Core, to principals of health science, emergency procedures, body structures and functions and Introduction to Behavioral Health. Students completing this pathway are either ready for jobs in health care or proceed on to post-secondary pathways in nursing, or other health care fields. 

Allied Health focuses on the different opportunties available in the healthcare field. The coursework allows students to explore the large array of jobs that exist outside of the field of nursing. 

Ms. Elder is the sponsor of HOSA and students in Health Scienc classes join HOSA and attend state conferences each year. FRCA HOSA members can qualify to compete at the National level.
