AmeriCorps is the national service program that provides Americans of all ages and backgrounds with a living allowance and education award in exchange for a term of service. More than 75,000 Americans each year are engaged in intensive service through AmeriCorps to meet critical needs in communities throughout the nation.
AmeriCorps members serve through non-profit groups, public agencies and faith-based organizations to meet critical needs in education, the environment, disaster relief and other human needs. Over one million individuals have served as AmeriCorps members since the program began in 1994.
Child Care
Camp Hollis' Summer Residential Camp provides week long camps for up to 100 youth, ages 8-14, per week. Camp Hollis also offers day camp programs for campers ages 6-14. The children participate in a wide variety of activities including: swimming, sports, team building, nature study and hiking, arts and crafts, camp fires and large group activities. This outdoor experience is dedicated to promoting good sportsmanship while stressing conservation and the wise use of one natural resources
