Reckoning with Redress is set in the early 1980s. Below, you'll find a gallery of period photos for inspiration when selecting your attire for the reenactment. This collection is meant to guide you—not to limit your choices.
Here are some guidelines:
Since the scene of the congressional hearing takes place in a somewhat formal setting, we ask that participants wear business or business casual attire.
If you are able to and willing to style your hair or grow your hair out in accordance with 80's hair styles, that would greatly add to the period aesthetic.
Big budget films have a large team of hair and makeup artists that can cover every single extra to bring the period of the film alive. We are a modest budget independent film team that does not have these resources. We highly encourage and greatly appreciate growing your hair and styling it in accordance with 80's hair styles to add to the authenticity of the film.
