College Spirit Day (every Monday)
Book Fair Open until 3:30

Tuesday

Minimum day - dismissal 2 hrs. earlier than normal
Book Fair Open until 2:30

Wednesday

Minimum day - dismissal 2 hrs. earlier than normal

Thursday

Military Spirit Day (Wear camo, purple, etc.)
Minimum day - dismissal 2 hrs. earlier than normal

2:00 - 3:00 - K-2 Parent Reading Workshop (see below)
3:00 - PTA Executive Meeting

Friday

San Onofre Spirit Day (every Friday)
Book Fair Open until 12:00 pm
Minimum day - dismissal 2 hrs. earlier than normal
5:00-7:30 - Fall Festival

K-2 Parent Reading Workshop

Our Reading Intervention teacher, Ms. Ralston, will be hosting a drop in Reading Workshop on Thursday, October 10 from 2:00-3:00 pm for Parents of K-2 Students. She will have resources and tips available for supporting your child in reading at home. If you’d like to come learn more about how you can assist in their reading journey at home, you are welcome to stop by in Room 402 on October 10 anytime between 2:00 and 3:00pm.

Reading Time

Reading for just 20 minutes a day with your child can have a tremendous impact on their learning and development. Studies show that daily reading improves vocabulary, comprehension, and academic success.

It's also a wonderful way to bond and foster a lifelong love of books. Please join us in making reading a daily habit and give our children the gift of knowledge and imagination!
