Unity Day! - Wear Orange
Unity Day is a national event that promotes kindness and acceptance. On this day, students and staff wear orange to show that we stand together against bullying and are united for kindness and respect. Our school will be participating with activities that encourage friendship, empathy, and positive connections among students.

Picture Makeup Day
If your child was absent on September 22 or enrolled after that date, they will have the opportunity to take their school picture. Additionally, if you are not satisfied with your child’s previous picture and would like a retake, please have your child return the original photos and envelope to their teacher on September 22.

San Onofre School is proud to be named a 2025 Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll school, which recognizes high-performing, achievement gap-closing schools across the nation. The Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll, sponsored by the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence, is the only school award given in collaboration with state and local business leaders. The Honor Roll is a valuable resource for all schools to identify successful peers and learn about best practices that are improving student achievement.
