Kaohsiung Municipal Fu Cheng Senior High School is located in Wujia area. With the increasing rapidly population for these ten years, Kaohsiung Municipal Fu Cheng Senior High School established and served as the quality school in addition to the former Wujia, Wufu, Nancheng elementary schools in this area.
Kaohsiung Municipal Fu Cheng Senior High meets the needs of the current development of the Wujia area, and offers students multiple learning opportunity in daily life experience.
After Magistrate Yu took office, he felt that there should be a county high school in the top five regions to retain outstanding local students. Through the magistrate’s coordination of the Ministry of Education, the Council and people from all walks of life, the school has contributed a lot to the community.
As for the history of our school, the Ministry agreed to formally restructure into Fu cheng High School on August 1, 1999, and was approved by the Ministry of Education to become a senior high school in February 1990.
In August, 1980, the former Kaohsiung County Government Committee asked Mr. Zhang Chaozao, the principal of Wujia Junior High School, to start preparations for Fucheng Junior High School and to carry out the first phase of the new school building project.
In January of 1984, with the joint efforts of President Zhong and the teachers and students of the school, he officially moved back to the school's new school building, Dunxue Building, for class and office work.
In March, 1985, the construction of the new school building of Zhishan Building was completed.
In February 1987, the new construction of a 50-meter standard swimming pool was completed.
In August 1988, President Zhong was transferred to Fongjia Junior High School, and Mr. Liu Heping, the former President of Fengxi Junior High School, took over as the second principal. Shortly after taking office, President Liu passed away from work.
In August 1988, Mr. Cai Yingshi, the former principal of Bora Junior High School, took over as the third principal.
In May, 1989, the new construction of Dexin Building was completed.
In August, 1989, the school was officially restructured into Kaohsiung County Fucheng Senior High School with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and began to enroll high school students. .
In January, 1992, the new construction of Wenxin Building was completed.
In February, 1993, President Tsai Yingshi was appointed as the principal of the National Chimei High School, and Chen Lixing, the deputy director of the Education Bureau, was acting as the principal.
In August, 1993, Mr. Lin Wenzheng, the former principal of Youth Junior High School, took over as the fourth principal.
In March, 1995, the new construction of the activity center was completed.
In February, 1998, the new construction of Tuzi Building was completed, fully integrating campus aesthetics into the school building.
In August, 1999, Principal Lin Wenzheng retired, and Mr. Chen Dangmu, the former principal of Youth Junior High School, took over as the fifth principal.
May received a subsidy of 13 million from the Ministry of Education for the cold-to-warm swimming pool renovation project.
In March 2014, Fucheng High School's multi-functional sports field was completed. Mayor Chen Ju presided over the inauguration ceremony. The school building space reached another milestone.
In August 2014, President Chen Dangmu was appointed as the principal of Sanmin Family Business, and Mr. Su Qingshan was selected to take over as the sixth principal of the school.
In February 2015, the fence of the Canal Riverside Campus in Qianzhen Township of our school was completed, providing a high-quality campus riverside view of the school and community.
In December, 2015, we signed a sister school agreement with the Tenth Islamic Middle School in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In October, 2016, the renovation project of the Fuxiang Street Tongxue Trail on the east side of the school was completed, providing a comfortable and safe walking space for pedestrians and students.
In August, 2017, we signed a letter of intent for cooperation with Lomonoxop Middle School in Hanoi, Vietnam.
In November, 2017, the earthquake-resistant reinforcement project of Zhishan Building was completed.
