There is an estimate of 5,416,536 Filipinos in the region.
The Americas pertain to the regions of North, Central and South America. This region is home to the largest number of Permanent Filipino Migrants, with most residing in the United States of America. Overall the US hosts over 82% of total Filipino migrants in the region, and 46% of the total Filipino diaspora globally.
During the pandemic, the region experienced a substantial increase not only in documented temporary migrants, but as well as undocumented/irregular migrants.
