The Americas pertain to the regions of North, Central and South America. This region is home to the largest number of Permanent Filipino Migrants, with most residing in the United States of America. Overall the US hosts over 82% of total Filipino migrants in the region, and 46% of the total Filipino diaspora globally.
During the pandemic, the region experienced a substantial increase in not only the documented temporary migrants as well as undocumented/irregular migrants.
