Hi! My name is Judy Staub. Teaching is one of my passions. I enjoy teaching to the ‘whole’ child. I want to see my students learn, grow, and become independent young men and women. I expect them to work diligently and become advocates for themselves. I want them to read daily, ask what words mean, and figure out and problem solve; I want them to use their critical thinking skills. I’ll work cooperatively with you, the parents, so please email or call me and I’ll do the same with you. Please be sure to check Skyward for your child’s progress.

I’ve been teaching for many years. I’ve taught in New Jersey, Connecticut, and now Florida. I earned my Bachelor’s in Deaf Education/Elementary Education from Flagler College and my Master’s degree in Special Education from Southern Connecticut State State University. I have certification in Educational Leadership from Sacred Heart University in CT and a certification in Birth-to-Three from the American School for the Deaf in CT. I also have endorsements in Reading, American Sign Language, and in English as a Second Language.

I live in St. Augustine with my husband. My three adult children and three grandchildren all live in town too.

I look forward to working with your child and having a fun, exciting year.
