The 8th grade Comprehensive Science 3 integrates the 4 Bodies of Knowledge in science, which are Nature of Science, Life Science, Earth and Space Science, and Physical Science. We are using Google Classroom where you will find some of your assignments. I will send you a link to join your new Google Classroom through a personal email sent to you. Inside the email you will need to click "Join" or press "Enter" over the join button if you are using JAWS or Fusion. Then, you will go to the Google Search and type in: "classroom.google". This will take you to the search option that says Google Classroom-Sign in-Google Accounts. Then, follow the Google Classroom Tutorial For Students link embedded in the middle of this page. Once your assignments are completed in Google Classroom you will find a button at the top right-hand corner that says "Turn In". Once you click the button or click "Enter" while hovering over the "Turn In" button I have your completed assignment.

All assignments come from the Pearson Elevate book and the N.G.S.S.S. Science Standards for Florida. You will be given a large Print or Braille study/ vocabulary guide that includes a regular print copy for parental assistance if needed. I am a veteran Science Teacher and have taught for 19 years and will be starting my 20th year. Previously, I was a lead science teacher for 3 years. I guided a school toward student success in science by providing a link between new state and district initiatives.
