Classroom Behavior Expectations

Class Rules

Kindergarten will utilize FSDB’s Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBiS).

PBiS utilizes the  “3 Bs", Be respectful, Be responsible, and Be cooperative

We focus on:

Being Respectful

Sitting quietly.

Raising my hand.

Being kind to others.

Being kind to myself.

Being Responsible

Doing my work.

Following directions.

Putting things away.

Being Cooperative

Helping my friends.

Sharing with my friends.

Solving problems with language.

We use Positive Choice cards for students.  When the students make good choices they will receive a hole "punch" on their card. After their card is filled with 20 punches they get to bring it home to share with you and pick from the prize box. This is a very motivating and positive experience for the students and one they are proud of as we count aloud each positive choice they have made on their cards.  Once they will bring home to share with you please use the opportunity  as a shared language experience. Ask your student what they chose from the prize box and a few of the good choices they made to fill up their punch card.
