This is the final high school class taught in my program. Currently, there are no students enrolled in this class.

This class is very hands-on so students should be prepared to get dirty and sweat a lot. We will be working with the Grounds Department around campus throughout the school year. For safety reasons students will need to come to class with proper outdoor work attire and footwear. If they prefer, they can leave an old pair of tennis shoes in my room so they can still wear nice shoes to their other classes. They will also be required to carry a personal water bottle for hydration while working outside.

Students will receive a "Keys to Success" grade when doing any hands-on work. This grade will be calculated using a rubric with five categories:

1. Being punctual, 2. Being safe, 3. Working cooperatively, 4. Focusing on the task, and 5. Cleaning up the work area.
