Teacher performance is based on the average of the 8 dimensions in domains 2 and 3 with each holding a minimum score of 3.

Data collection year for the new Acknowledged designation level will be 2025-2026.
Teachers who are designated as a National Board Certified Teacher are automatically considered a Acknowledged teacher within the TIA program.
Head Start and Pre-Kindergarten: CIRCLE assessment (Pre/Post Test)
Kindergarten-8th Grade Reading and Math; 4-8 Science: MAP assessment (Pre/Post Test)
9th-10th Grade Math, Reading and Science; 8th Grade Social Studies, US History : STAAR (Pre/Post Test)
4th-7th Grade Social Studies, all other high school core courses (non STAAR): Curriculum-aligned assessment (Pre/Post Test)
CTE: Precision (YouScience) Exams (Pre/Post Test)
Physical Education: Fitnessgram assessment (Pre/Post Test)
Music: Music First (Pre/Post Test)
Life Skills: Unique (Pre/Post Test)
Dyslexia, Special Education, and Intervention teachers will qualify based on growth measures applicable to the students they support.
