MEET THE STAFF

Bryce Butera

I am Bryce Butera. I enjoy eating, reading, and playing video games. Two of my favorite foods are pizza and noodles. I love my family; I have three brothers named Davien, Gaven, and Zane, and my father owns a restaurant called Butera’s.

Ryan Myers

My name is Ryan Myers and I have been a writer on the InFlight Newspaper team for 2 years. I am currently a senior who is on the varsity football team, wrestling team, and I have previously been on the Mock Trial team. One interesting fact about me is that I am a student pilot, and I have been able to fly a plane twice in my life. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and reading.

Caitlin O'Keefe

Hi there! My name is Caitlin, and I am a sophomore at Frontier this year. I will be 16 this coming June and my favorite subject in school is history. I have a dog named Snowball and two younger siblings who go to Big Tree Elementary.

Katelin Kerl

My name is Katelin Kerl, and I am a senior graduating in 2022. I am the president of the senior class, and enjoy getting involved in student government, event planning, and helping to provide an enjoyable high school experience for all of the students at Frontier! I’m also involved with the Spanish Club, NHS, elementary student mentoring, and act as an ex-officio member of the school board. When I’m not wearing my academic hat, you can find me binge watching reality TV, (mainly Jersey Shore), playing with my dog Libby, spending time with friends, dancing, or at the sweetest place to work, Fowler’s Chocolates! To know me is to know that I am full of enthusiasm, determination, smiles, and as a person anyone can count on.

Emma Gordon

Hi there, I’m a junior this year and I’m looking forward to what the future holds! I currently work as a cashier at Picasso’s Pizza, but when I’m not there, you can find me at my dance studio or at my church’s youth group. When I’m at school, my favorite places to be are the chorus room and the bookstore - where I work during my lunch period. I’m passionate about music, travel, and I love to read and write. This is my first year writing for InFlight and I’m excited for this new opportunity!

Annabelle Sankey

I’m Annabelle Sankey, I am 16, and a junior this year at Frontier. I enjoy painting, drawing, and writing. I love history, music, and my all time favorite band is Glass Animals. This year I am looking forward to my guitar class. At home, I have a c named Ginger Boy whom I love very dearly.

Marley Pacholczak

Hi my name is Marley Pacholczak, and I am a sophomore here at Frontier. I have an older sister, a younger sister, and a younger brother. My favorite subject in school is English. At home I like to read and skateboard.

Nicholas McBride

My name is Nicholas McBride. I grew up as the oldest child, and the oldest grandchild on both sides. Being 16 is a lot to handle, between work life and other obligations. I am currently in my junior year, and when I’m not juggling tasks, I pass the time by doing woodcraft, building stuff, collecting diecast cars, doing photography, and learning about history. Besides InFlight, I am also involved with Spanish Mentoring Club, and previously was in Mock Trial and International Club.

Olivia Edwards

I'm a freshman this year, and I am 14 years old. I love to write, read, and watch Bills games with my family. I also love to watch early 2000s movies.

Eric Brogcinski

Hello, my name is Eric Brogcinski, and I am in my sophomore year of high school. I like cooking, camping, canoeing, and writing. I especially like writing about the things I enjoy doing. I hope you enjoy reading the articles I write for you!

Ethan Zydel

Hey, I’m Ethan Zydel! I am here for my fourth year on the InFlight team. I am currently very involved with the Concert Choir this year and making great memories with my chorus members. My family and I are also involved in fostering kittens for Ten Lives Club outside of school! Although I may seem busy, I still make sure to enjoy every last minute of my high school experience with my friends. These memories will be important to me as I continue into my life beyond FHS!

Juan Huang

My name is Juan Huang, and I am a sophomore at Frontier High School. I was born in the United States, but my parents are from China. Don’t worry though, I still eat rice everyday. I am also bilingual, and speak fluent English and Mandarin. I love to write journals during my free time. To me, life is not just about experiencing new things, but learning through the process.

Angelo Gerace

My name is Angelo Gerace, and I write for InFlight! I often like to write about what’s happening around the district to keep our students and staff informed on our school’s events. Sometimes I pour my heart and soul into an article about spaghetti and meatballs. Other times, I like to write satirical takes about the current political climate, or other mainstream happenings. Whichever it may be, you can count on my articles keeping you up to date and (hopefully) not getting me in trouble.

Shannon Conley

Hello! My name is Shannon Conley and I’m a sophomore this year. I love all sorts of art, but I mainly enjoy drawing and painting. I also love to play games! I play tons of video games, and that’s when I really like to nerd out. I’m looking forward to creating comics for InFlight this year!

Zoey Chandler

My name is Zoey Chandler. I’m a junior and this is my third year on InFlight staff. I love to sing, dance, and act! Some of my favorite things are iced coffee, hiking, and the color pink! I enjoy writing opinion pieces, narratives about my life, and poetry.

Tyler Bacon

Hi there! I’m Tyler, and I’m a sophomore. I have three dogs: Sadie, Bailey, and Biscuit. I love my dogs, but I’m definitely more of a cat person. I have two sisters as well; an older sister and a younger sister, which makes me a middle child. I’m a huge Taylor Swift fan, and I would have to say my favorite album of hers is Evermore, and my favorite song is “Champagne Problems."

Alexandria Burket

Hi, I'm Alex. I have blonde hair and blue eyes, I'm 15 and a sophomore this year. I have 2 dogs; one is 10 months old and the other is one year old. I have a 6 year old sister named Jenna, and a 3 year old brother named Gerald.
