Nearly 900 colleges and universities accept the Common App!
Rule of thumb: if the Common App is required by one school, use it for as many as possible!
*Remember - each school has their own supplemental part to the application along with their own application fee
Invite teachers and counselor to recommend you electronically on the Common App! Be sure to get their emails correct and follow up personally to make sure they receive your invitation! Once electronically invited, your counselor will upload your transcript, GPA, Rank and Counselor Recommendation to be accessed by all Common App schools that you apply to.
If you are only applying to SUNY Schools, use the SUNY Application! It's easier and quicker than the Common Application.
Once you submit your SUNY Application, your counselor gets an email to upload your transcript, GPA and Class Rank.
Counselors can also upload 2 letters of recommendation and a resume through Counselor Connect. Bring hard copies or email them to your counselor.
DON'T use the SUNY Application (it costs money this way!)
