Mission Statement.
The mission of the Frontier Middle School Library Media Program is:
To create students who are effective, efficient and ethical users of information by building upon the foundation of information literacy skills introduced in elementary school.
To provide access to a wide variety of literature (fiction and non-fiction) at various reading and interest levels appropriate for middle school students' required, informational and pleasure reading needs.
To support curriculum areas through instruction in information literacy skills and by providing print and electronic resources for research and student's personal exploration.
To support students' curiosity and their love of reading and learning!
What should I do if I am concerned about the content or reading level of material at the Middle School Library Media Center?
Please refer to the district's policy on Selection of Library and Multimedia Materials (8320). You may then choose to complete a Citizen's Request for Re-evaluation of Instructional Materials and submit this to the Library Media Specialist, Principal or district offices.
