That depends on the amount of trees to be inventoried and the conditions on the site. Please send us an email with the site survey and site address and we will give you a quote as soon as possible
"How long will it take to get my Tree Preservation Report?"
It will take about 2-4 weeks to complete the Tree Preservation Report.
Here are some ways to help speed up the process, we will need from you:
Site survey - to accurately map tree location.
Site plan - to asses the impacts to the trees.
Provide access to the site by informing all tenants.
"How do I remove a tree in my yard?"
That depends on many things:
What city are you in?
What is the size of the tree?
A 'Protected Sized Tree' depends on the size of the tree and what city you are in. See The Municipal Tree Bylaw tab for more information about protected tree definitions by Municipality.
If you have an unprotected sized tree you are free to remove it any time.
If you have a protected sized tree you will need a 'Tree Removal permit'.
Why do you need it removed?
If the tree is protected then you will need an acceptable reason for removal. See below for unacceptable reasons for removal.
"Do you provide Tree Removal permits?"
Most cities will not allow the removal of live trees. There must be a very good reason for removal.
Unacceptable reasons for removal in most Metro Vancouver Cities:
Lifting/damaging driveway or hardscapes (paths, patios, etc.)
Inconveniences including:
Leaf litter
Fruit drop
Unaesthetic
Branches dropping and causing damages
Allergies
