**The following are grade-appropriate citation recommendations. The most important concept we want our students to understand is that when we borrow an idea from another author/creator, we should give them credit.
Kindergarten & 1st Grade: Author and Title
2nd Grade: Author, Title, Copyright
3rd Grade: Author, Title. Publisher, Copyright
4th & 5th Grade: Author, Title, Publisher, Place of Publication, Copyright
Example Format: Last Name, First Name. Title of Book. Place of Publication: Publisher, Copyright.

Grade-appropriate website citation for elementary students: Title of Article, Name of Website, Web address, Date the Website was accessed.
